Interactions Ltd will be presenting on the theme of Smarter Travel at the ITS European Congress, Europe’s N°1 Event for Intelligent Transport Systems, held 4–7 June 2013 at the Convention Centre in Dublin.
The theme of ITS Dublin 2013 is “Real Solutions for Real Needs” and will focus on proven solutions that solve real problems and deliver value for money in today’s challenging economic environment.
All regions face similar challenges in delivering sustainable transport solutions to meet their current and future mobility requirements. Transport authorities are aware of the real needs specific to their region but often find it difficult to identify detailed information on targeted ITS solutions that would deliver direct and tangible positive outcomes. More and more recognition is being given to Mobility Management, hand in hand with ITS solutions, to bring about behaviour change in favour of Smarter Travel. We will be showcasing some of our work in the area of Mobility Management with CIVITAS cities and at home in Ireland. We will share the stage with South Dublin County Council who will focus on their TravelSmart Communities programme, where we helped them implement their Personalised Travel Planning initiative.
