Cycling Cities – Key Success Factors gleaned from CIVITAS

Image from cover of Enabling Cycling CitiesThe Irish launch of the book “Enabling Cycling Cities – Ingredients for Success” will take place during National Bike Week on Monday 17th June 2013 at 6 p.m. The venue is the European Commission Representation, European Union House, 18 Dawson Street, Dublin 2.

This book is an invitation to take the bicycle more seriously and aims to support cities in making cycling an integral part of urban mobility plans.

Damien Ó Tuama, cycling researcher and advocate, is a contributor to the publication. He will speak about the latest offering to the body of knowledge in the field of cycling planning. The book is produced under the auspices of CIVITAS MIMOSA, a collaborative project of the CIVITAS Initiative, funded through the EC’s FP7, of which Interactions Ltd was a partner responsible for Communications and Dissemination.
