Evelyn Lane

Evelyn Lane – Associate Researcher

Evelyn has worked with Interactions since March 2022 bringing experience in developing relations with various stakeholders, business networks, education and training providers, community-based services, third level institutions, trade organisations, various government departments and state services. Evelyn is an accomplished facilitator with over thirty years’ experience in designing and facilitating group work, using key skills to listen and discern themes and identify key issues. Her most recent work with Interactions has been as qualitative researcher conducting focus groups and 1-1 interviews for a Skillnet client, and drawing conclusions and recommendations from the quantitative research.

Evelyn has over 30 years’ experience working with Local Development companies – in Adult Education/Community Development, Employment Services and Community Regeneration, e.g. Kildare ETB, Dublin Inner City & Dublin South City Local Employment Services, HSE Individual Placement Support Employment Programme and fields of business networks, implementing Community Business Clauses in public procured contracts and work experience programmes.

She is an experienced project manager in the area of education and employment services where she has developed Strategic and Action Plans in response to needs of various target groups, and conducted research and analysis of job seekers to determine career progression routes.

Qualifications: B.A. (Anthropology), M.A. (Adult Education & Community Development). Evelyn is a Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Development, and has been recognised by Dublin Lord Mayor for services to the people of Dublin. She has achieved Q Mark National Recognition Award and was a national finalist in various categories including, Pursuit of Excellence and Recognised for Excellence.
